"The Taxi"

Also known as the Grosvenor Club, was established in 1956, where we were one of a select few late night venues. However no other could match our service, unique atmosphere or fantastic value for money as this proud venue has to offer.

When we first started all those years ago, we were just a simple two storey terrace converted into a bar, with seven poker machines and a bistro upstairs selling grills and steak sandwiches but the Taxi was packed every night. These days we have a lot more to offer even though the competition is fierce on Oxford Street we ensure our patrons at The Taxi enjoy a memorable experience and that all our guests are welcome and leave with a feeling of enjoying a happy and relaxed time.

The Taxi is as diverse as its patronage - located in the heart of Sydney's Darlinghurst where professionals, workers, artists, business people, gays, lesbians, straights and transgendered persons come together as a community.
